One in four Canadians aged 15 and older have provided some form of care for people with a long-term health condition in 2018. About 40% reported giving 1-3 hours per week. And 21% reported giving 20 hours or more per week - of them 64% were women and 36% were men. The top three caregiving activities: 1. transportation (72% of all caregivers), 2. Helping with housework (55%), 3. Assisting with house maintenance (2018 General Social Survey)
